The witness of a woman was almost unworthy to be counted in the jewish culture, but Jesus appeared and spoke to them first. Another tradition broken by Jesus. Many translations write the first verse of Matthew 28 as In the end of the sabbath. But was it only one Sabbath day or more in the original text and in the Youngs Literal Translation. Which is it? Jesus is now awaiting the time to lay down his life. He asks a few of his disciples to watch with him for his hour. As He went away to pray, did he ever doubt his mission? Was the prayer for the cup to pass a sign of doubt or weakness on Jesus' part? What did he mean that "the spirit is willing indeed, but the flesh is weak"?
