Why did Yahweh/God's plans of a predestined good and expected end for Moses and Aaron become forfeited ?

Is Jeremiah 29:11 a promise for a irrevocable expected end?

How could God be sooooo upset with Moses and Aaron over 1 thing enough to change their expected end?

Is speaking in tongues against the Kingdom of Gods' work, and what was his command to them to straighten their ungodliness?
Preachers teach that our works don't matter and that your sin is already forgiven...Yet God called it,and in correct worship presumption.
