Seeking The Truth

Throughout history, religious people have decided, on their own, how they would worship God, despite what God has clearly outlined in His word, the bible. Even those who claim to read find their own ways to censor his words to do what is most comfortable for them. Our society today is no different. God is being censored from public buildings, school events, and even church. What happens to a culture that exempts and censors God? Listen and discover just what God's judgment is against such a culture.

The judgment of God is not a subject that the world ponders often if at all. Most belief systems do not include a being that oversees everything and repays those who are wicked and unjust to the face. Even if the judgment of God is of no interest to you, you will not escape it. Though you refuse to talk about it, think about it, or even consider it, it is real and you will be judge. In this chapter of Jeremiah, God through Jeremiah is foretelling their judgment and destruction despite those who said it would never happen.

This second epistle to Timothy continues to charge Timothy to stay steadfast in Gods word. Paul warns Timothy from the different things that keep men from following after Christ. This 1st chapter is a reminder to us all how important it is to stay steadfast in the Gospel.
