Luke 10 pt. 1 Appointment, Assignment, and Authority

Continuation of our verse by verse bible study in the Gospel of Luke. Jesus sends out seventy-two others to prepare the way for him. But what does that have to do with us? Have we been given the same appointment, assignment and authority that was given to these? How seriously do we take our call? Have we become distracted along the way or have we began to serve our own needs instead? Listen to what Jesus warned those to do and not do so that they could be effective for the kingdom.
