Judah had been planted by God. They had been given everything for survival and a good life. How then did they become plucked up? In this 18th chapter of Jeremiah, God is being faithful to his word recited by Moses 800 years before. He is going to pluck Judah out of the land that they had been planted in. Did Judah lose their salvation?

Judah has become so sinful that there was no turning back for them. They had become so exceedingly sinful that it was impossible for God to overlook it. They must be judged. Jeremiah continues to warn the people of God's judgment because they have trusted in the words of man instead of the Words of God. Examine your own ways and determine if you have trusted in the words of man who preach peace to you while you are entrenched in sin.
