II Corinthians 4 Don't be Blinded by the Gospel
Tuesday Jul 08, 2008
Tuesday Jul 08, 2008
Have you noticed that talking about Yeshua causes some people to become offended? Do you realize the exclusivity of the gospel (Jesus is the only way to God) is what those who don't believe despise? It was no different with Paul when he preached the gospel to those who felt the gospel was intolerant. What did Paul get for it... beaten, imprisoned, and persecuted; mostly by "religious people." Are you one of those "religious people" who find that the true gospel is just too exclusive and intolerant for society? Is the gospel hid to you because you're not willing to suffer for the kingdom? Listen to what Paul has to say about those who are willing to shine the true light of the gospel of Christ.

II Corinthians 2 When a Leader Corrects
Friday Jun 20, 2008
Friday Jun 20, 2008
When a leader corrects someone in the assembly of God, if it is done according to scripture, it is not the leader that is correcting it is God. If a leader advises an assembly to forgive, if I is according to scripture, it is not the leader who commands it, it is God. Paul instructs the Corinthians in these very things so that Satan can not have advantage over them. But what exactly did he mean? He describes his ministry as a sweet savor of Christ. What did that mean in a Roman culture?

II Corinthians 1
Monday Jun 16, 2008
Monday Jun 16, 2008
In the first epistle to the Corinthians, Paul addressed alot of spiritual issues concerning the assembly. In this epistle, Paul is defining his ministry to the people at Corinth. There were some there who did not think he was an apostle at all. This chapter covers these subjects:
- No matter what happens, will you trust in God?
- Paul was stoned and left for dead, are you willing to suffer to give hope to others?
- What is the grace of God for?
- What does it mean to be "sealed"?
- Does this mean I am always saved and can never be lost again?
- What did the seal mean in the culture it was used in?
- How do I apply these biblical truths to my walk with God?
