Continuation of our verse by verse bible study in the Book of Exodus. God has promised to redeem the children of Israel from Egypt. He has decided in his sovereignty to enlist the help of Moses to do so. God is capable of doing it alone however he relies on Moses to submit to his plan of deliverance. Moses objects and God responds. This is a beautiful picture of God's patience and willingness to answer even the smallest objections. However, when do our objections become a question of God's credibility? What can we expect from Him when our unwillingness to submit causes God to be "sorely displeased" with us?
