Jesus is now awaiting the time to lay down his life. He asks a few of his disciples to watch with him for his hour. As He went away to pray, did he ever doubt his mission? Was the prayer for the cup to pass a sign of doubt or weakness on Jesus’ part? What did he mean that “the spirit is willing indeed, but the flesh is weak”?
